How to Convert MKV to Sony Ericsson Xperia Play on Mac OS?

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is a gaming-oriented mobile which delivers functionality of smartphone that the most power users could need, teamed with immersive gaming experience that gamers would want. On September 8, 2011 Sony Ericsson confirmed that the Xperia Play, and all Xperia phones released in 2011 shall receive an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. And Google said the release date of Android 4.0 will be around Thanksgiving Day in the US. So, Xperia Play users have the chance to utilize this unified OS within this year.

What we require:

-Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

-Google Android 2.3

-Mac MKV Converter 

Step 1-Add original video files. Click add button in the middle of main interface, or check “File” to add video folder or video files with Quicktime.

Step 2-Edit output. Click “Edit”-> “Media Edit” head to video editing panel. Five alternatives are provided.

Trim: cut video file into segments as demand.

Crop: remove unnecessary parts on frame, for example subtitle.

Rotation: rotate whole frame to different angles.

Effect: adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, volume.

Step 3-Profile Set. Click button before 3D setting button, various preprogrammed profiles with regards to various gadgets and formats are provided. Please choose “Android”-> “Xperia Play”.

Step 4-Start. After all settings are done, back to main interface, click  to start converting MKV to Xperia Play. When the conversion process is finished, connect smartphone to Mac PC, transfer them to your gadget.
