How to Convert AVCHD ISO to MKV?

“I need a help. I want to convert my AVCHD ISO file to MKV file so I can play them back on my TViX HD M-6500A. I have heard from my friends that it’s possible but don’t know how to do it?—Sayam”

These steps will help you convert an AVCHD to MKV so it is playable on your PC.

The software you will need is Video to MKV Converter

Here are the steps:

1. Open AVCHD to MKV converter, add source AVCHD files by clicking . Or you can check “File” to add video folder.

 2. Set Output Files

After you add AVCHD files, you can select an output format for each video file and specify a directory on your computer to save output files. Click “Profile” and find out “MKV (Matroska) Video (*.mkv)”.

In order to set advanced audio and video parameter, please click “Settings”. Here you can set video size, frame rate, aspect ratio, audio channel etc.

3. Edit AVCHD Files–Optional

AVCHD to MKV can help you set video brightness, contrast, saturation, crop video, trim video and even add watermarks.

a.Capture a clip from your video file

Click the Trim button to open the Trim window and trim the current video file by dragging the Start Time slider to set the start time and dragging the End Time slider to set the finish time.

b. Crop Movie Video– If you want to remove the black edges or just convert part of the video area from your video file, you can click the Crop button to crop the video of the current video file by dragging the frame around the video.

4. Start Convert AVCHD to MKV

Click  on the bottom of the main interface to start converting.
