Easily Convert MKV to PSP Go with Subtitles on Mac

“Hello, I was hoping for a bit of advice on this issue. I am trying to convert some Anime that is encoded in .mkv format to MP4 format so that I could see it with my PSP Go. I have tried several guides and do convert MKV to MP4, but the problem is that output not with subtitles. Advices: Actually, there are several ways to do that, however it is suggested to pick one MKV converter which can convert files with subtitles. That will save you a lot of nasty things like configure decoder configuration etc.

Simple guide on converting MKV to PSP Go with subtitles on Mac

Application: Mac MKV Converter

1-Load source MKV files.  

Click add file icon to import video files, or add video folder by clicking “File”-> “Add video Folder” on the top tool bar.

2-Set Profile for Output.

Click to set audio and subtitle for output video.

Click profile button which is just before 3D setting icon, choose “Sony” in various preset profile, and pick “PSP Go” in its down-menu.

For more advanced settings, please click the plus sign, there are some video/ audio general parameters are offer to adjust. You may customize all by yourself, but please note that some adjustment may make output not compatible with your game console.


Apply all settings, back to main interface, clickto start converting MKV to MP4 for PSP GO.

4-Transfer Output to PSP GO

Connect PSP GO to your computer, save the converted files into “VIDEO” on your memory stick. Please note that all PSP devices cannot read files in third level or lower folder.
